The Alliance Armor receipt paper roll is treated with silver ion technology to provide antimicrobial product protection against unwanted microorganisms. Silver ions attach to any microbes present and will not allow them to duplicate. Independent laboratory testing demonstrated a great reduction in microbes after 24 hours. Print testing conducted at RIT showed no change in print quality vs. untreated paper.
